About this contract

City of York Council are looking to commission a behavioural (Tier 2) weight management service for adults. For the purposes of this Specification "Behavioural (Tier 2) weight management services for adults" means multi-component programmes addressing dietary intake, physical activity, and behaviour change for adults who are overweight or living with obesity with the primary aim of promoting health behaviour change, which reduces body weight. The Provider will offer a service that meets the OHID (Office of health inequalities and disparity) and NICE (National institute for Health and Care Excellence) requirements of a Tier 2 Weight management service, to tackle obesity and promote healthier weight. This tender has 2 Lots; bidders can bid for one or both of these Lots.
