About this contract

The provider will be able to provide one to one, group and virtual advocacy to servicers, with the aim to meet the outcomes mentioned below. The advocate will split their time roughly doing 70% one to one work, 20% group work and 10% multidisciplinary training.<br/>The specific days/ times in each of the venues should be flexible to meet service user need/ or days to be determined upon award. The services in which it would be expected for advocates to attend face to face are:<br/>• John Howard Centre, 12 Kenworthy Road, London E9 5TD<br/>• Wolfson House, 311-315 Green Lanes, London N4 2ES<br/>Whilst the service will be available to all service users, the advocate will work with a group of up to 10 service users at any one time. They will also provide information sessions for the multidisciplinary team to ensure full understanding of the advocacy service.<br/>The advocate will work in partnership with other advocacy providers who may be involved in supporting the service user. The advocate must be able to act independently of any person who is professionally concerned with a patient’s medical treatment.
