About this contract
North Somerset Council would like to invite you to quote for a contract to employ and manage the work of two Community Builders who will work in the south of Weston-super-Mare (the Potteries, Oldmixon, the Coronation and Bournville estates). 1.1 Background A Steering group has been established with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of people living in the south of Weston-super-Mare. Membership includes local residents, a local Councillor, Alliance Homes, Healthwatch, the local Children's Centre, Voluntary Action North Somerset, the For All Healthy Living Centre, Weston Works, North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group, North Somerset Community Partnership and various representatives from North Somerset Council. In early 2015 the Steering group commissioned the delivery of an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) project, which went live on the 23rd February 2015 and is due to expire on the 22nd February 2016. The group is looking to re procure this project for a further twelve months to allow time to secure longer term funding. Please refer to the ITT for further information with regards the specification and scope of the contract.
