About this contract
Provision of a Young Peoples Substance Misuse Service for young people (aged 10-17) who reside in the London Borough of Havering. Working closely alongside Schools, Children’s Social Care, Early Help and Youth Offending Services, your organisation will be expected to deliver a range of substance misuse services to young people with a focus on prevention, early intervention and treatment interventions. Additional information: The London Borough of Havering wishes to invite suitably qualified organisations to provide a Young Peoples Substance Misuse Service for young people (aged 10-17) who reside in the London Borough of Havering. Working closely alongside Schools, Children’s Social Care, Early Help and Youth Offending Services, your organisation will be expected to deliver a range of substance misuse services to young people with a focus on prevention, early intervention and treatment interventions. Block contract value (3 years) not exceeding £366,000. The contract may be extended for a period of up to two years at the Council's discretion subject to performance and funding. The following minimum standards and qualification will be required in order to be invited to tender, applicants will be required to answer 'yes' to the following four questions: 1) Is your organisation CQC registered? 2) Is your organisation registered with the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System? 3) Does your organisation have two years or more experience of delivering young people’s substance misuse services? 4) Does your organisation provide Drug & Alcohol National Occupational Standards (DANOS) training for its workforce? The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of employment) Regulations 2006 may apply. Tenders will be evaluated on a scoring ratio of 60% price and 40% quality. This tendering exercise is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system “capitalESourcing” (url: www.capitalesourcing.com).
