About this contract

York Place Long Stay car park is located just outside the centre of Knaresborough (York Place, HG1 OAD) in close proximity to Knaresborough Swimming Pool. The site currently provides car parking and public toilet facilities and is the largest surface level vehicle park in the area. The existing gravel surface has deteriorated to a poor and uneven condition and requires a full reinstatement, incorporating drainage, line markings, and edgings respectively. It is intended the works will be undertaken on a phased basis so any contractors bidding for the works should be aware that the contract timescales should not be deviated from to allow for the scheduled full reopening to the public.
