About this contract
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex (Sussex PCC) are tendering for the supply and delivery of a bespoke Women's Triage & Diversion (T&D) project in Sussex custody suites, which will also integrate Out of Court Disposal (OOCD) and the Voluntary Attendance Suite (VAS) for women encountering the Criminal Justice System (CJS). Sussex PCC, on behalf of the Surrey and Sussex Criminal Justice Board (SCJB), has successfully secured government funding to develop a multi-agency approach to address the complex needs of often the most vulnerable and disadvantaged women in society being processed through the CJS. The aim of the project is to use existing resources differently, to target support more efficiently, avoiding gaps or duplication in service provision and supporting women to access provision successfully to enable them to turn their lives around.
