About this contract

Laverstock and Ford Parish Council own a wooden boardwalk which runs alongside the River Bourne. The boardwalk joins Milford (Riverbourne Road) with Laverstock (Whitebridge Road) in the south of the Parish. The boardwalk is in a bad state of repair and needs urgent replacement. The contract is for the removal of the current boardwalk (approximately 225m) and its replacement with a new boardwalk in HDPE plastic. Two short additional spurs to the river are also required.
