About this contract

The council is undertaking borough-wide housing redevelopment and wishes to appoint a suitably experienced, registered and qualified consultant to manage the disconnection and diversion of all services from two of its residential housing sites, in advance of redevelopment. The appointed consultant / contractor will arrange with the appropriate utility companies - electricity, gas, water and data supplies- for all existing services to the sites to be disconnected and / or diverted so that demolition works can proceed unhindered and in a completely safe manner. The appointee will be expected to develop a firm and committed programme in consultation with both the council and the utility providers that meets the council's timetable.
