About this contract
The purpose of this procurement is twofold: (1) to identify three Bidders to award a place on the Framework and (2) to allow the selection of a preferred Contractor to manage and complete the detailed design and procurement for the scheme from RIBA Stage 3 design through to RIBA Stage 4 for the University Court Phase 1 Project under the PCSA (and the Building Contract at the University’s discretion). The University Court Phase 1 Project will be carried out as a “two-stage” design and build project. It is the current intention (although the University is not obliged) that upon successful completion of the above under the PCSA, the selected Contractor may be appointed to carry out the construction of University Court Phase 1 Project under the Building Contract. The University is following the Restricted Procedure in Regulation 28 of the Regulations. The University is conducting this procurement on behalf of itself and UW Developments Ltd (06308702). Both the University and UW Developments Ltd will be entitled to call-off contracts under the Framework. The current plan is for UW Developments Ltd to be the employer under the University Court Call-Off Contract (although this is subject to change at the University’s discretion).
