About this contract

'Harrow Council has secured funding through the New Homes Bonus (NHB) to deliver a range of economic development related projects and programmes. This programme (Harrow Meanwhile Use and Business Entrepreneurship) seeks to build on the borough's successful work in its District and Local Centres, whilst also linking with the other projects and programmes receiving NHB funding. The Council is keen to help diversify the offer of the high street across the borough's town centres. With approximately 100 empty vacant high street units across Harrow's town centre (June 2014) the principal aim of the project is to find a new lease of life for unoccupied properties. The Tender is looking for consultants to deliver the programme, working in partnership with Harrow's Economic Development Team to secure vacant properties, negotiate with landlords, and identify occupiers. The Council is conducting the procurement using an Open procedure for the purpose of procuring the services described in the Specification (Services).'
