About this contract

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC)) is looking to procure a series of digital donation points for The Amelia Scott cultural hub. Opened in 2022 after a £22m redevelopment, The Amelia Scott is a public library, museum, gallery, adult education and Council contact centre in the heart of Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The facility sees around 300,000 users through it's doors each year and offers a series of free and paid for activities on site. As the site is free to enter, TWBC is looking to maximise opportunities for donations, while minimising cost - by procuring 3 digital donation points for the site. Two of the three points may be in fixed locations around the site, with the third being able to move around the building as per need; depending on the nature of the activities taking place. The units must operate on TWBC's wifi network and the one which is 'mobile' must be able to operate for a time without being plugged into mains electricity. Services within The Amelia Scott are run by the local authority, thus it is not a registered charity - and all systems and means of funding must be compatible with this fact. Should the donation points be successful after the initial term of the contract, additional points may be added to the agreement at a later date for the Assembly Hall Theatre, also run by TWBC.
