About this contract
The College wishes to engage an appropriately qualified and experienced Contractor to set up and undertake a document storage and retrieval management contract under the College’s General Conditions of Purchase for Goods and Services to include the appointment of an appropriately qualified single point of contact to act as the Contract Manager / Administrator and for all due allowances for liaising with the Employer and for attending all regular Progress Meetings and consultation as necessary Additional information: HOW TO APPLY TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Re: The Sheffield College: Document Storage and Retrieval Management Contract: Project Nr SRIS-DocStor (TSC/HG001) The College has decided to control all tendering activity through “In-Tend”, an Electronic Tendering Management System, and we request that you register on the system to access the tender documents which will be available to view from Monday 20th April 2015 The link to the supplier portal is: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sheffieldcollege/aspx/Home Your registration will be permanent and will allow you access to other tenders invited by the College that may be of interest to you in the future. Please will you register there as soon as possible to access the following documents which comprise the tender package for the above project:- • Tender / Contract Document and Appendices • Tender Drawings Tenders are to be prepared in accordance with the Specification and the requirements of the Pricing Schedule. Your tender should be submitted on the enclosed Form of Tender and accompanied by completed Tender Documents and must be returned via the College’s electronic tender management system, “In-Tend”, no later than 12 Noon on Tuesday 5th May 2015: • It is the responsibility of the tendering contractor to ensure that their electronic submission is uploaded by the above prescribed time as the “In-Tend” system prevents uploading after the stated time. It is, therefore, recommended that submissions are uploaded in good time and not left to the last moment • If the tenderer fails to upload their submission to “In-Tend” by the prescribed time the Tender will not be deemed to have been submitted on time. • Any obvious errors in pricing or errors in arithmetic will be dealt with as stated in the form of Tender. Your tender should be uploaded to The Sheffield College Electronic Tender Management System “In-Tend” Ref: “TSC/HG001” to arrive no later than Noon on Tuesday 5th May 2015 Your submission file-name, reference, frank or name should not identify your organisation or your tender may be rejected. Please present with your tender submission the following: • a list of recent or current clients with outline details of size and length of contract who we may contact for references • a copy of your business accounts for the most recent three years. During the Post Tender Report stage we may call you in for interview to clarify points arising from your tenders. If you have any queries please use the 'Correspondence' facility in “In-Tend” to raise any matters of concern so that open-tender visibility can be maintained for auditing purposes.
