About this contract

Summary of main requirements: ​​Replace the existing fire suppression system and expand the coverage to include the high-level walkways Repositioning the high-level storage tanks to enable easy access. Provide a fire suppression system to both North and South abutments ​Investigate and refurbish 4 no. Machinery Rooms fire suppression systems Expand the SCADA coverage to include all fire suppression systems ​Replace boosted mains and domestic cold-water systems to the South and North Towers including booster sets, tanks, and plant, allowing for the rationalisation of water systems in conjunction with the sprinkler system​ This tendering exercise is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system 'capitalEsourcing' (www.capitalesourcing.com). Suppliers will need to register an interest on the system in order to participate and registration is free. The estimated value given at II.2.6) is for the full duration of the contract including the maximum possible extensions. The estimated annual contract value is therefore £5,200,000.
