About this contract
The service requires the provision of an Artist with teaching qualifications to engage with service users who are less able to access mainstream services and would benefit from an Arts project and or similar service provision to promote positive change. The aims and objectives of the provision is to meet the unmet needs of those children who are offending or on the cusp of criminality and or offending and do not fully engage with mainstream services. The Art project will provide an alternative outlet to address social/emotional/behavioural issues through learning new skills, expressing feelings through art based projects and allow creativity and opportunities to learn new skills or develop talent. Art will take many forms and may extend to crafts, woodwork, fabric work, 3D models making for example. The hours for the service shall be as follows: 10 hours per week for 42 weeks of the year - These would be over 2 days (Tuesday 1.00pm - 6.30pm & Thursday 2.00pm - 6.30pm) Easter activities college/Art College (1 week, 30 hour activity art based) Summer activities college/Art College (3 week, 30 hour activity art based). The initial term of the Contract is for 2 years (01/04/2024 - 31/03/2026), but the contract shall have an option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month period, potential for Contract to run until 31/03/2028. Maximum contract value including extension period (£80,000.00).
