About this contract
Dudley Council invites providers to submit a quote for developing a Self-Care Strategy. The aim of this project is to develop a self-care strategy, including a Dudley model and vision that will offer direction for the long-term sustainability of self-care by: a) Collating all relevant self-care information from National, Black Country & local evidence, b) Reviewing the work already completed in Dudley. Dudley Council is looking for an organisation / agency with a strong understanding of the Dudley borough and excellent experience in self-care, to develop a self-care strategy for the Council by collating and evaluating all the work completed so far. The strategy is to cover core values, objectives, strategic goals, operational tactics and measurements. It may include funding streams and performance management. The strategy will enable Dudley Council, the Dudley Clinical Commissioning Group, wider health professionals and the third sector (voluntary and peer-led organisations) to truly embed a sustainable self-care vision within Dudley. Therefore, the strategy should be accessible to all audiences. The strategy will set out the Dudley model to improve self-care, with key stakeholders working together, using the strengths of individuals, carers and local communities to transform the quality of the care and support we provide to all local people. Additional information: This exercise is being conducted in electronic format. Documents will be published to the Dudley MBC Black Country Business website.
