About this contract
The West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership (WMVRP) are seeking to appoint a consultant via consultancy contract with a strong and proven track record in developing effective data sharing, and data management/governance arrangements, including the drafting of robust information sharing agreements and protocols, ideally with a public sector/public health background, however this is not essential. Key objectives of this are to: a) Provide technical guidance and insight, to support and inform the continued development and implementation of the WMVRP Data Framework; b) Review and where necessary refresh current data sharing arrangements/protocols c) Review broader governance arrangements to ensure they are fit for purpose, providing the confidence and trust needed to further facilitate effective data sharing between relevant partners; specifically, within the requirement of the Serious Violence Duty (SVD) and specified authorities; d) Co-produce data sharing protocols that facilitate robust partnership data sharing; e) Review existing multi-agency data sharing platforms and opportunities for them to be maximised to further understand violence across the West Midlands - both regionally and locally - to inform the prevention and reduction of violence and the causes of violence; f) Identify opportunities to strengthen existing information sharing arrangements
