About this contract

Gloucester City Council is seeking a specialist agency to implement and deliver advertising primarily on, but not limited to, its fleet of new Romaquip kerbside recycling vehicles. The fleet of vehicles will operate Monday to Friday throughout the City of Gloucester, reaching circa 127,000 residents, around 55,000 households. We are seeking a specialist to source suitable advertisers for the vehicles and manage the design, production and installation of the adverts on the Council’s behalf. The council is looking for innovative ideas regarding attracting advertisers and the basis of the contract is that there will be profit share between the council and its partner. The length of the contract is three years. There may be an opportunity to extend the contract for a further 3 years on similar terms, if both parties are satisfied. Gloucester is the 9th fastest growing city in the UK and is undergoing a period of regeneration, with over £700 million of public and private sector funding invested into the city since 2005 in support of Gloucester’s regeneration programme. It has a Premier League Rugby Club & an extensive festival programme including the Tall Ships Festival, food festivals and music and entertainment festivals which all encourage visitors to the city.
