About this contract
Lot 1 – Driver and Plant Training<br/><br/>The scope of the service will include:<br/><br/>The provision of driver and plant training.<br/><br/>Objectives:<br/><br/>1. To deliver training to CPCS standards or equivalent for all new and existing candidates and register them on the appropriate scheme for the relevant plant item. Also, complete appropriate SVQ/NVQ qualifications for new and existing candidates for appropriate plant.<br/>2. To maintain certification status for qualified plant operators (E.g. CPCS or equivalent) through renewals.<br/>3. To develop cost effective contracting and commercial solutions for vehicle and plant training.<br/>4. To deliver Driver and plant training to Scottish Water’s requirements across all its geographical locations.<br/>5. To manage all training programmes in scope and report on these to Scottish Water’s Learning Services Team.<br/>6. Agree methods of delivery and materials to complement training courses.<br/><br/><br/>2.1 Additional Requirements<br/><br/>Additional service requirements shall be negotiated with the successful bidder or bidders, which may include but shall not be limited to:<br/>1. Monthly Reports against Key Performance Indicators <br/>2. Participation in Continuous Improvement Programmes with Scottish Water’s Supplier Development Function<br/>3. Commitment to community benefits that align with Scottish Water.<br/><br/><br/>Lot 2 - Driver CPC Training<br/><br/>The scope of the service will include:<br/><br/>The provision of Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training.<br/><br/>Objectives:<br/><br/>1.To deliver Driver CPC training.<br/><br/>2. To deliver Driver CPC training to Scottish Water’s requirements across all its geographical locations.<br/><br/>3. To manage all training programmes in scope and report on these to Scottish Water’s Learning Services Team.<br/>4. Agree methods of delivery and materials to complement training courses.<br/><br/>2.1 Additional Requirements<br/><br/>Additional service requirements shall be negotiated with the successful tenderer, which may<br/>include but shall not be limited to:<br/>1.
