About this contract

The HSE Well Engineering and Operations Team within the Energy Division inspects Well Operations in the UKCS. More Well Operators are beginning to use Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) as part of their operations due to challenging drilling environment. Hence a training need has been identified for all members of the Well Engineering and Operations Team. This training goes beyond the standard International Well Control Forum (IWCF) well control and provides more practical well control experience and competency. In order to address this need, a one-off training course on the topic of MPD will be required to be delivered in Q1 2024 (prior to March 2024). HSE is seeking a training provider to provide one., three-day Advanced Well Control Training course.
