About this contract
Framework for the supply of Workwear and Personal Protective Equipment. The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (CBMDC are seeking to appoint one or more (in accordance with EU rules on framework arrangements) preferred Contractor(s) to provide the supply and distribution of Work Wear (casual and formal) PPE and Safety Wear. The Contractor(s) will deliver the services required across all Council Departments within the Council's boundaries. There will be up to 3 successful Suppliers for each lot (a total of 5 lots). An electronic catologue will be used to find the Most Advantageous Supplier for the items wishing to be purchased. The chosen supplier will receive the first call off, in the event that the chosen supplier cannot deliver the goods in a reasonable time etc then the 2nd based supplier will be given the opportunity to supply and so on. The Contract/s will be managed jointly between the purchaser(s) and the provider(s). The Council's intention is that the use of the contract will be mandatory for all council premises. The Contract Management Team will be monitoring this contract on behalf of the Council.
