About this contract

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is seeking a compliant tender for the supply of a community bus service operating between Old Basing and The Chineham Centre five days per week (Monday to Friday). Your submission should also include a separately (daily) priced variant for an extension to The Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. Variants to be operated either concurrently or separately: a. in accordance with the Timetable 1 in Appendix A and Route Map 1 in Appendix B (Monday to Friday) b. in accordance with the Timetable 2 in Appendix A and Route Map 2 in Appendix B Monday to Friday Tenderers are required to submit prices for both variations (failure to do so will result in the tender being rejected). All tenders received will be evaluated in accordance with paragraph 5.6, Section 1. The outcome of the procurement needs to reflect a theme that underpins the council's priorities which is to enter into service delivery arrangements that improve service and reduces cost. The contract will be for three years commencing end of March 2018 with an option to extend annually for a further two years
