About this contract

The principle requirement of this three year contract is to ensure that the council manages existing and new water systems in accordance with ACoP L8 and in accordance with contractor's commitments under the Legionella Control Association - Code of Conduct and in a manner which shall not put or is likely to put the council in breach of any other legal requirement. In summary the contractor is to provide suitably trained, qualified and experienced personnel to assess, identify and review services related to the risk of exposure to Legionella bacteria from work activities associated with all water systems, recommend risk control and/or reduction and implement required control measures.
