About this contract

The University of Birmingham currently has fifteen user groups that require two-way business radio communication systems. Some of these groups use business radio to support health and safety and potentially lifesaving functions. The current service users include Security, Estates Management IT Services, Accommodation Services, Potering and Cleaning as well as a number of independent small groups. Suppliers will need to register if not already pre-registered and opt into the radio tender to download the tender documents. The objective of this tender process is to appoint a trusted integrator with the ability to source and supply, install and support two-way business radio hardware, software and cabling to deliver a robust and resilient communications system to The University of Birmingham (UOB). The University of Birmingham is looking to award a contract for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend for an additional period of one plus, one plus, and one years.
