About this contract

The University is looking to appoint a supplier to provide an online mentoring service. As part of our core programme of activities, we plan to deliver the mentoring programme across students in Y9-13. A key part of this programme will be a structured Y12-13 online mentoring programme(s). The programme(s) will support students in making decisions about higher education (such as is HE right for them, what to study and where to study) and in their application to higher education. This will be done by guiding them through a series of activities with the support of a mentor who is a current HE student at one of our partners, or working in an industry relevant to the students' interests. Previous experience has shown us that mentoring is a highly effective intervention and online mentoring gives mentees the flexibility they need to be supported alongside studying.
