About this contract

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invite tenders for the development, delivery and evaluation of a PEACEPLUS ‘Action Volunteer Support Programme’. The programme aims to inject aspiration to build capacity of existing community groups and to form new cross community networks/partnerships. The programme was identified as a key priority through the consultation process with an emphasis on recruiting young volunteers and adding value to existing service provision. The programme will include a wide range of initiatives to better equip communities to react confidently to new challenges in this post-pandemic era and cost of living crisis. The programme will enable participants (on a cross-community basis) to learn new skills, undertake accredited courses, support committees to create greater diversity on their management structure and influence the next generation of leaders to make lasting positive change within their communities.
