About this contract
Manchester City Council is committed to creating and maintaining world-class Public Realm around Manchester to be enjoyed by residents, visitors and businesses. Manchester is the proud home to six, shortly to be seven, water features that range from the modern to the traditional. The Council is seeking to let a service contract to ensure that the fountains and water features in Manchester City Centre are maintained in a good and safe working order. The contract is to be let during February 2017 and will run for an initial period of two years, with an option to extend the contract for a further 2 years. The Council is using the e-business portal known as THE CHEST www.the-chest.org.uk to conduct the procurement exercise. To gain access to the invitation to tender documents, tenderers will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, tenderers will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the invitation to tender documents. Tenderers will need to electronically submit their completed tender documents and accompanying documentation via the CHEST on-line portal by 19:00 hours on the 12th December 2016. Any supplier questions queries will also need to be submitted via THE CHEST website. The Council welcomes applications from small or medium enterprises.
