About this contract

This contract is for the deep cleansing and chewing gum removal on the city centre streets in Manchester and is to be carried out using a steam cleansing and pressure water system (other non chemical alternatives may be considered). Additional information: The Council is using the portal known as The Chest (www.the-chest.org.uk) where tenderers will need to register their details. Once registered, tenderers will be emailed along-in and password which will allow applicants to gain access to the tender documents. Tenderers will need to electronically submit the completed tender documentation by Monday 15.7.2019 11:00 a.m. Any clarification queries will also need to be submitted via The Chest website. The successful tenderer(s) will be required to actively participate in the economic and social regeneration of the locality of the delivery of the contract. Selection and award criteria, specification requirements and contract performance conditions may relate to social and environmental considerations.
