About this contract

Derry City and Strabane District Council invite suppliers to tender for a PeacePlus Operation Desperation. A 2-year project which is inspired by the story of Foyle Women's Aid founding through occupying the vacant Pump Street building in 1976. The project will be delivered through arts/theatre-based initiatives around women and domestic violence with historical and contemporary context. This community engagement programme will uncover seldom heard stories and will accredit lesser-known community leaders from across the council district. The co-design process identified the need for the voices of local women who have experienced domestic violence to be heard and the importance of how Women's Aid supported these women through their journey. Please refer to the CfT documents for further detail.
