About this contract
In preparation for the UK City of Culture 2017 and to support the growth of the city's economy, Hull City Council is undertaking construction works to refurbish a number of streets within Hull city centre. The Hull City Centre Public Realm Regeneration Project will involve the repaving of streets with high quality stone materials, drainage, water features, the provision of street lighting and street furniture, together with the incorporation of public art. This Contract is to secure the supply of stone materials required for the paving of the City Centre Public Realm area. The materials required are granite, yorkstone and porphyry. The successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver the relevant materials commencing in August 2015, and then as directed by the works contractor until completion of the initial phases of work in October 2016.
