About this contract
The Bank of England is looking for a supplier to supply and install c.11 acoustic pods in its Threadneedle Street site, as per the specification below. The exact programme of delivery/installation will be shared with the successful Supplier. Please note that all delivery teams will need to be security cleared before they are allowed on site. No information contained this notice or in any communication made between the Bank and any Supplier in connection with this Tender shall be relied upon as constituting a contract, agreement or representation that any contract shall be offered. The Bank reserves the right to change the basis of, or the procedures for, the Process, to terminate the Process at any time or not to award any contract. Additional information: SPECIFICATION Acoustic pod W 2200 x D 1200 mm x H 2210 mm. Net weight 700 kg. Interior: Dark grey acoustic felt LED Lighting with occupancy sensor Air circulation system Anti-static and stain resistant carpet Left handed sound control laminated glass door (right hand door optional) Levelling glides Coat hooks Standard exterior walls, roof and floor: Glossy White Standard Door & Frame: Birch Plywood with White formica laminate Table: Birch plywood with white Formica laminate. A-) Rectangular turntable: 53 cm x 71 cm, height 70 cm Includes power module with 3 x UK power sockets and USB connections 2 sofas with L or R backrest. Standard upholstery: Canvas by Kvadrat, Grey 154 RESPONSE: The interested bidders should email the address stated above with their proposal for a pod meeting the requirements, its lead time to delivery, and the price per pod (including delivery and installation), before the deadline, and register on www.bankofenglandtenders.co.uk in parallel (please note that it takes roughly two working days for registration to take effect). The evaluation will be based on the most economically advantageous tender (where the quality will be determined by pass/fail questions). The evaluation criteria are: 1. PASS/FAIL: Does the proposed pod comply with the specification? Is the lead time less than six (6) weeks? 2. PRICE The maximum marks will be awarded to the Supplier who submits the lowest total weighted pricing. The remaining Suppliers will receive marks on a pro rata basis from the lowest to the highest price. The calculation will be Supplier mark = (lowest compliant price received / Supplier's price)
