About this contract
There are a number of different services, providers and different contracts for Statutory Advocacy. These are Statutory Duties for the local authority to have provision for. Services are running until 31/03/2020 and new services need to be place from 01/04/2020. Like many areas we seek to have a combined Statutory Advocacy service. An advocate can appropriately carry out different Statutory roles for the same person. At the moment a different advocate is required for each specific function and this does not necessarily assist service users or referrers. The proposed service will combine: • Independent Care Act Advocacy • Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) • Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) • NHS Complaints Independent Advocacy Additional information: This procurement will be managed electronically via the RBG Proactis Procontract e-tendering Suite.
