About this contract

West Berkshire District Council (the Council) is seeking an appropriately experienced provider to deliver a SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES (SEND) INFORMATION, ADVICE AND SUPPORT SERVICE (SENDIASS) for West Berkshire resident parents/carers of children and young people who have a special educational need/disability and for the children/young people themselves. The purpose of the Service is to meet the duty of West Berkshire District Council (as outlined in the Children and Families Act 2014), which requires local authorities to provide parents of children with information, advice and support relating to their child's SEN or disability. The Act also requires local authorities to provide children and young people with information, advice and support relating to their SEN or disability.
