The Parish Council can make adjacent land available to connect with this area to allow for a wider ranging skatepark to be constructed. There is an existing project team which includes young people who participate in Skateboarding, the applicant will engage with this team to design, plan and build the replacement skatepark. Funding will be through grants; the applicant is expected to support the project team in obtaining grant funding and once obtained complete the building of the skatepark. Additional information: Please: - make contact to arrange site visits if needed - submit clarification questions by the deadline indicated The project team are holding a design shaping session on 23 Jan and will publish the output from this session as an additional document. Submission and contract dates have been adjusted by 1 month to accommodate this update. 24 Jan - added teh project workshop session output for use by prospective bidders 11 Mar - Clarification Question Question: The tender documentation does not show an evaluation marker against design. If you could confirm a design is required, and evaluated at tender stage, that would be most appreciated. Response: we have used the Skateboard UK template for this tender and given the actual design work would be part of the deliverable when on contract an indicative concept to support why the expected cost would be incurred is all we would expect at this stage. We would not hold anyone to a design at this point as there is too many unknowns or funds to cover a design at this point. However, it will give a feel for what the Skatepark could look like and an indication of the steps needed to deliver a skatepark. 13 March - Updated tender document with email addresses used to send submissions highlighted in red text in the document
