About this contract
The Council is seeking to provide a Single Advocacy Service (Adults). This service covers a number of statutory advocacy functions including: • Independent Care and Support Advocacy • Independent Mental Health Advocacy • Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Relevant Person's Representatives • NHS Complaints Independent Advocacy Additionally we are seeking to provide a number of non-statutory advocacy services to extend the provision of representative advocacy in the borough to other service users and carers who could benefit from it, including: • Mental Health General Advocacy • Learning Disability General Advocacy The Council should procure and implement a single contract for advocacy covering both statutory and non-statutory provision on the basis of three years with a possible further two extensions of twelve (12) months each for a total contract period of five (5) years. This tender process is being carried out in accordance with the Open Procurement Procedure as set out in the Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) 2015.
