About this contract
NHS Telford and Wrekin CCG, NHS Shropshire CCG, Telford and Wrekin Council, and Shropshire Council have come together in a collaborative commissioning arrangement to procure a new Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service (formerly CAMHS Tier 2&3) for all registered patients in this geographic footprint. The service will be procured through a prime provider model under 1 (one) lot for the entire geography. The aim is to secure a service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order to promote resilience, prevent mental health crises and respond quickly to the presenting needs of children and young people in relation to mental health. The project team have engaged extensively with local stakeholders and written a service specification that is outcomes focused and aims to strike a balance between offering bidders enough detail to plan their service delivery effectively but with sufficient scope to innovate, improve and co-design local services with children, young people and their parent carers over the 5 (five) year life of this contract. Additional information: If and when this requirement is offered to tender, this will be done via electronic means, and may also be through the medium of an electronic reverse auction.
