About this contract

Quotations are invited by the Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for SEND Mediation. The Local Authority has a statutory duty to commission an independent Disagreement Resolution & Mediation service for children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their parent/carers. This contract is anticipated to commence on 1st September 2023 and will expire on 31st August 2026 with the provision to extend for two further periods of twelve months up to 31st August 2028.
