About this contract

Nottinghamshire County Council will be going out to tender early in the first quarter of 2015 for data space. Around 9 racks, with approximately 7kW per rack power, are required. They will need to be located in a secure data centre within 2 hours driving time of the main data centre in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The data centre will need to have the capacity for more rack space to be acquired if required.Potential bidders should note that the cost of moving the equipment, currently located at Node4s data centre in Derby, to a new data centre as well as the cost of moving circuits will need to be included in their bid.Our requirement is for an initial 5 year contractTo commence July 2015, with optional annual extensions of up to two yearsExpressions of interest are invited to enable potential bidders to engage with the project team prior to going out to tender.Once providers have registered on the E procurement system, NCC will contact you in due course.
