About this contract
Our main aim of is to engage with young people to help them deal with conflict in a way that avoids violence, Particularly in impoverished areas of London which, tend also to be the areas of high crime and gang violence. This programme aims to steer young vulnerable children away from crime, keep them away from danger and reduce crime on the rail network as well as the areas around the schools. The programme should centre on conflict and how to deal with it effectively. The target audience for this scheme is secondary school years 8 or 9 (12-14 years old). British Transport Police is seeking to work in partnership with a Supplier to deliver a bespoke Programme to 10 secondary schools across London Boroughs within a 2-4 week period, in 2018. British Transport Police will decide which schools the programme is delivered to.
