About this contract

The Scheme for Financing School sets out the financial framework between the LA and schools as directed by the Education Act 2002. It requires school to submit a financial forecast in a format determined by the LA which is based on CFR (Consistent Financial Reporting) codes prescribed by the DfE. In order to provide a consistent format for all schools, the Schools Finance Team requires budget planning software which is compatible with schools local accounting systems, SIMS (Schools Information Management System) FMS (Financial Management System). Tenders received will be evaluated using the criteria of 80% Price and 20% Quality.
