SCC - TC06 Servicing, Maintenance & Responsive Repairs to Gas & Heating / Plumbing and Kitchen Plant & Equipment in Public Buildings and Schools within the City of Southend on Sea Southend on Sea City Council are seeking to engage experienced and qualified organisations for the provision of servicing, responsive repairs and maintenance to commercial and domestic gas and heating plant and equipment and responsive repairs to plumbing and kitchen plant and equipment within public buildings and schools in Southend on Sea. This procurement has been divided into 2 lots: Lot 1 is for the appointment of a gas safe registered mechanical supplier for the provision of servicing, responsive repairs and maintenance to commercial and domestic gas and heating plant and equipment under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition. The Council are seeking to appoint one service provider for this Lot. Lot 2 is for the appointment of an organisation for the provision of responsive repairs to plumbing and kitchen plant and equipment under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition. The Council are seeking to appoint one service provider for this Lot. The aim of the contract is to provide quality services to responsive repairs and planned maintenance by suitably qualified engineers. Objectives include adhering to priority response time and managing a planned maintenance programme. The main outcomes are to ensure a reliable suitably accredited and qualified contractor is employed to ensure the plant and equipment remain reliable and compliant to relevant H&S legislation and British standards.
