About this contract
This tender is for bidders to submit a price for the collection and recycling of Scrap briquetted Aluminium Cans from the Councils Material Recycling Facility (MRF) at Bowling Back Lane Bradford BD4 8SZ. The Aluminium Briquettes are approximately 10" x 10" x 11" and are stacked and strapped on to various size pallets ranging from 3' x 3'10" to 4' x 4' to a height of 4'9". The council currently has approximately 35 pallets of Aluminium Briquettes which weigh an average of 800 Kgs per pallet available from the MRF. The winning bidders must be able to collect the Aluminium briquettes in a vehicle that enables it to be transported to their site safely and without the risk of shedding the load in transit.The figures are for guidance only and the Council cannot guarantee the figures. Bidders should note that not all of the briquettes, pallets are of a uniform size. The Council has the capability to load articulated vehicles (average weight 22 - 26 tonnes) depending on type of vehicle/trailer.
