About this contract

The clay tiles to the east elevation are delaminating to a number of areas, such that its complete overhaul or reroofing will be required. The extent of work can be determined following a closer inspection to determine the general condition of the tiles as the felt and breathable membrane prevented a diagnoses being made as to the condition of the tile nibs that may be defective when considering the condition of the tiles. Invitation to Tender to be issued Tuesday 9 August 2016 Expression of Interest to include: Name of Company, Name of Contact, Email Address, Telephone Number Works will need to be carried out during office hours, Monday - Friday, and will need to be completed by the end of November 2016 This project is deemed as construction as per the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and we would require the contractor to fulfil the duties of designer, contractor and Principal Contractor as described in the aforementioned Regulations. The indicative technical and experience requirements for this CDM project are: • 2 years relevant construction/roof work experience as appropriate. • CITB Site Supervisors Course. • Appropriate craft qualifications and in house training for the works being conducted.
