About this contract

We are seeking to procure the barrows required for the council to provide the newly insourced street cleansing service. The new service will commence on 1st April 2025. The products required need to meet the following brief: The barrows will be used for street-based operatives for the collection of litter and segregation of waste, and the transportation of related equipment. The features of the barrows include but are not limited to: Design Features Front moulding Suitable tyres Collection containers Jockey wheels Reflectors Brush brackets Sack retention system on one container. Colours Frame: Grey. Container bases: Grey. Lids and front moulding: please provide colour options. Extras Sack hooks Brake unit Extra refuse sack retention band and fixings. Operators box compartment Recycling divider Materials Coated steel frame Heavy duty plastic containers Dimensions Container capacity: 2 x 100 litres Total height: not to exceed 1000mm Total length: not to exceed 1900mm Total width: not to exceed 650mm Total weight: not to exceed 60kg
