About this contract

Birmingham Voluntary Services Council (‘BVSC’) is the responsible Authority for the creation, delivery and support of voluntary support services to citizens in the Birmingham are and is seeking bids from suitable software suppliers for the provision of software which will meet BVSC’s requirements in respect of an Intelligent Common Assessment (and case management)Tool (‘ICAT’). Aims and Objectives of the Project The aim of the requirement is to provide a web-based communications solution to the challenges of interdisciplinary working, specifically focusing on those with multiple complex needs. BVSC, through the requirement, will have a ready for market ICAT (Intelligent Common Assessment Tool), a web based communication tool to offer up to 20 partners. ICAT will have a ‘communication’ and a ‘data recording’ function and will form an integral part of No Wrong Door (NWD). A network of service delivery agencies committed to improving the delivery of services to those with multiple complex needs. Constraints BVSC’s primary focus is the delivery of appropriate support in a field of wide and deep demands. Accordingly, its resources and available funds are always stretched. Furthermore, BVSC’s ethos is to find the most economically effective means of achieving its aims. Contract ICAT is a relatively conventional software supply, implementation and support project. Accordingly, the purchase will cover both the capital cost of the initial supply, implementation and rollout of the system. Following that, BVSC anticipates there will ongoing annual licensing and/or maintenance support costs which shall run up to the end of the operational delivery of the Birmingham Changing Futures Together programme. to express their interest.
