About this contract

The Children’s Commissioner has the ability to assist and advise any child or young person who is in care, a care leaver, is living away from home or receiving support from children's services concerning their entitlements and when their rights under the UNCRC and legislation are being denied or infringed. This includes children in need and in need of protection. The Children’s Commissioner is commissioning a review of how these new responsibilities are being delivered by her Office in order to identify areas of next stage priority for delivery and development.
