About this contract
The South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner (SYPCC) is seeking a single provider to lead the delivery of a Restorative Justice Service in South Yorkshire. The service will ensure that a high quality Restorative Justice Service is consistently available throughout South Yorkshire to all victims of crime. This service is being jointly commissioned by SYPCC and South Yorkshire Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC). SYPCC will be the lead organisation for this procurement. The South Yorkshire RJ Service will look to: Reduce the harm caused to individuals and communities as a result of crime Avoid further harm being caused. Support victims long term recovery. Support offenders to understand the effect of their actions and reduce re-offending. Build confidence in the CJS.
