About this contract

The work comprises of the complete replacement of the existing Passenger/Goods Lift in Central Library. The existing lift shaft and machine room are to be re-used. The capacity of the lift will be 14 person 1000kg with the lift doors remaining in the same position. The Main Contractor will allow for all builders’ work in conjunction with the installation and shall be fully advised by the specialist contractor. The Contractor shall allow for full removal and disposal of all redundant equipment/materials of the existing lift installation and the renewal as detailed in the attached Specification.
