About this contract
This is a pre-tender notification. Contractors will be selected from a list of those expressing an interest based upon experience and suitability. The works are the installation of a new emergency lighting system in accordance with HTM 06-01, British Standards and the electrical consultant design drawings and specification and removal of existing emergency lighting system and making good following new installation at the Radbourne Unit, Royal Derby Hospital site, Derby. Based on the Royal Derby Hospital site, the Radbourne Unit is the Trust's main inpatient service for Derby and South Derbyshire residents with acute mental health needs. The Radbourne Unit consists of four adult acute inpatient wards called Ward 33, Ward 34, Ward 35 and Ward 36, an enhanced care ward (ECW), and a mother and baby unit. Works will be carried out in 'live ward' environments throughout the installation. No lone working is allowed in any areas and the contractor will have to demonstrate experience of working in similar environments.
