About this contract
Home Group Limited (Home Group) wish to procure Contracts for the provision of various repairs and maintenance works and services including the following: - Responsive repairs - Void works - Servicing and heating repairs - Planned maintenance This list is not exhaustive and Home Group reserves the right to seek appoint further works and services of a similar nature to the above works and services at its discretion during the term of the Contracts. For more details on the works and services included within the Contracts, please refer to the tender documents. The works and services will be split into 3 geographic Lots as follows, and a Contract will be awarded for each Lot: - Lot 1 – North Lakes, Cumbria. - Lot 2 – South Lakes & Rural areas, Cumbria - Lot 3 – South Central area (Peterborough, Milton Keynes and Northampton areas). For further details of each Lot please refer to Annex B of this Notice. Please note that a bidder cannot apply for both Lots 1 & 2, it can only apply for Lot 1 or Lot 2. All bidders are welcomed to bid for Lot 3 (even if they have already bid for Lots 1 or 2). It is envisaged that the Contracts will each last for an initial period of 7 years, with an option to extend for a further period of 7 years at Home Groups discretion. The works and services will be carried out by the contractors under a JCT Measured Term form of Contract, with a schedule of amendments. However, bidders should note that the terms of the Contract will give the parties the ability to agree a variation to the contractual arrangements at any point during the Contract Period and enter into such other arrangements as are necessary to deliver the works and services through an alternative, more tax efficient contractual structure.
