About this contract
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to undertake Repairs and Maintenance of Mansafe Systems and Access Ladders. The contractor should provide a price for annual maintenance for installed equipment to Sandwell's premises as detailed on the pricing schedule. (The bidder shall make themselves aware that the site list is subject to change.) The contract period will be for 3 years, commencing 1st July 2024 to 30th June 2027. The total anticipated contract value is circa £24,000.00, with an anticipated £8,000.00 spend per annum. However, this information is intended to assist with the preparation of your bid. The Council does not bind itself to this or any other figure and is not a guarantee of business which may be generated from this contract. The Contractor shall demonstrate that they are competent to undertake the work detailed in the quotation and have relevant accreditations in place. The costs of all travel to and from site and collection of keys (from B69 3ES) for access (where relevant) shall be inclusive in the rates submitted in the pricing schedule. The maintenance and repair service shall cover Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm (not including bank holidays). Provisions should be made to be able to respond to emergency calls within a 4-hour time period.
